How is this a public school system? (Own opinon)

If it is mandatory to go to school, and have a proper education then why should certain schools    have a higher education (mainly the rich) and the poor school's do not ? We all live in Canada and in this country, we are all about equality to share with one another. But why isn't it the same thing with our Health care, then why not with our education?

The answer is simple Money. Money runs the entire school for textbooks, uniforms, gym supplies, etc. If that school doesn't have enough money than it cant function properly.School's in Rosedale tend to do better, because they do have money and lots of it.

But this isn't fair to the less fortunate schools for they dont raise as much money. Even though we know the difference between what is right and wrong and fair. This certainly isn't fair but wouldn't anyone of us jump at the chance to atttend a rich school?

How is this a publc school system?

Public school's full of rich kids are better off, than public school's full of poor kids. That is according to studies done on the education system. The Fraser Institute  ranked Nelson park middle school a 2.0 while Whitney Junior Park middle school got a 8.6. Now we're looking at differences of $16/per student and $1,026/per student for the month. Most of the money comes from fund-raising in the school, now where does the money come from when fund-raising? The parents, of course.

The parents money funded the school. For their jersey's, books, gym supplies. the money was distributed evenly amoung the students, but not with the entire public schools.

There were 2 plans on how a school would be funded. Plan A, banned parental donations to the school, as long as the government would be funding all schools to a level where donations wouldn't be needed. Now Plan B would be pooling all parental donations and sharing them evenly to each school.
Now everyone has equal rights no matter where the school is, if it's a poor neighbourhood or how much funding the school gets, but education is important nobody denies it. But maybe forgot that when it's our own child needing a bood education.

My opinon on E-learning

E-learning is fun, but isn't the best way to learn. Though it does have it's advantages such as; students are more prepared and organized, for less-outspoken people to write their opinions on a message board and the convenience we have to the access to learning from our homes and not have to travel to school to attend classes is great and does have it's uses. But the thing is that we don't really learn much from it compared to the traditional way, with a paper and pen listening to a lecture.

How come? Because even though today our community has become reliable on technology and students do research on the Internet. Technology is a distraction,e-learning offers more drawbacks than the traditional way of learning. One main concern parents worry is that students with bad study habits may fall behind may be distracted by socializing website like Facebook and Twitter. What’s more is that without the routine of a class, students may get lost or confused about course activities and deadlines.

Studies show that more than half of the class would skip classes if the notes were online. but if she or he stumbles across a part that they don't get then a teacher is required to help answer their question and this is the fault in e-learning then of course you need to be face-to-face with that teacher rather than email.

Now everyones' learning abilities are different some need hands-on exprince others need a lecture on the subject but both of these require face-to-face contact being taught by an actual teacher not just a podcast of a lecture since you arent really there and invovled and this causes all sorts of problems if you have a question or don't understand it. We may be so far-advanced in technology but we aren't so advanced that we're gonna have virtual schools anyday soon.
