My opinon on E-learning

E-learning is fun, but isn't the best way to learn. Though it does have it's advantages such as; students are more prepared and organized, for less-outspoken people to write their opinions on a message board and the convenience we have to the access to learning from our homes and not have to travel to school to attend classes is great and does have it's uses. But the thing is that we don't really learn much from it compared to the traditional way, with a paper and pen listening to a lecture.

How come? Because even though today our community has become reliable on technology and students do research on the Internet. Technology is a distraction,e-learning offers more drawbacks than the traditional way of learning. One main concern parents worry is that students with bad study habits may fall behind may be distracted by socializing website like Facebook and Twitter. What’s more is that without the routine of a class, students may get lost or confused about course activities and deadlines.

Studies show that more than half of the class would skip classes if the notes were online. but if she or he stumbles across a part that they don't get then a teacher is required to help answer their question and this is the fault in e-learning then of course you need to be face-to-face with that teacher rather than email.

Now everyones' learning abilities are different some need hands-on exprince others need a lecture on the subject but both of these require face-to-face contact being taught by an actual teacher not just a podcast of a lecture since you arent really there and invovled and this causes all sorts of problems if you have a question or don't understand it. We may be so far-advanced in technology but we aren't so advanced that we're gonna have virtual schools anyday soon.
